Midnight majesty maran

Asking for an update, because I got two TSC midnight majesty marens that were marked as pullets with head spots. As i have 7 roosters to 10 females right now, I can't do more roosters, I just can't. Does TSC have a policy on this? I already got one rooster out of another store's pullet box and decided to try another store... get two more roosters? Very annoyed and worried about what I can do about this. Hoover's themselves are VERY unclear on headspot/when males show as barred etc.
Definitely roos. I dont think anything can be done. I just sit in the stores and google or now, i call ahead and ask what a store has and then i google that breed so i know what to look for when i get there!

I ended up with a roo from my pullet purchase. No white dot on his head. After two weeks, he started coming in barred. Crowing at three weeks..... so far he’s a sweetheart n afraid of his own shadow (12 weeks old). Fingers crossed he stays sweet. Any Roos I’ve ever had ended up being jerks.

Does the lack of spot guarantee pullet then? I have one throwing me for a loop right now !

Hello, Maran Momma! If the chicks have a white spot on their heads, that means they're males; if they have no such white spot, they are female!
