Well, this time it seems like it is a worse case - they are talking putting in a drain tube or going in to "scrape" the stuff off/out of his lungs. It has solidified and causing pressure.

We didn't get to our room until about 3:30 this morning. I hate ER's tho I'm mighty glad to have access......looks like we might be here for a week or so. Have not seen the pulmonologist yet this morning so I will know better what's going on when I talk with her.

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes. Save some plants for me!!! I will be back after while once I get DS down for a nap (for some reason he's tired.... :| ) and get something to eat.

Well, as I type this they have taken DS off to get yet another IV started. He has managed to pull out 2 so far and that's purely by accident

The pulmonologist ordered a TB test, a sonogram for tomorrow, a cystic fibrosis test and x-ray's for Monday. She said we can expect to be here at LEAST a week. Can you imagine what that is going to ddo for DH's paycheck since he has to stay home to care for the kids. Anyway, she said we'll know better come Monday what we can expect - She's holding out hoping the antibiotics do the job and we don't have to have the scope thingy done. I'm hoping the antibiotics work too.

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes - I'll keep everyone updated as I know more. Right now I just want to snuggle my little sweety into bed with me and sleep for a very long time......
