Milk Crates for Nest Boxes?

they also sell "milk crates" at dollar general they aren't as nice as the actual dollar general a little more flimsy but this is what we use

I use the plastic file crates you can buy from Walmart. I leave them standing up and cut down the front leaving a couple of inches to keep the straw in. Works great.

PaulaJoAnne - thanks for the idea. I just finished setting my crates. I need to add the litterboard on the top row, but I wanted to pass along a photo. I have 9 nesting boxes now!

Or you can get wooden veggie crates from the produce manager at your local grocery store. Wine crates from the liquor store.
