Hey guys so I have a baby chick about 2 weeks old, who has been showing signs of having coccidiosis. He is a little unstable when he walks, needs to be huddled, but at the same time will stop and not move from one spot no matter what the other chicks did. I removed him today and started the diet for the milk flush, using dry milk, bran, oatmeal and corn meal, but how do I make sure he is also getting enough water.
Does anyone know an EFFECTIVE medication or something that doesn't require a vet. Something to put in the food. For years we have never had an issue not using the medicated chicken starter/mash so this is the first time we are facing this problem. I am really worried and upset about all of this and we know that this can cause death for the baby.
The chick also seems to have an issue pooping, but we are hoping that the diet helps that as well.
I NEED SUGGESTIONS!!
