MILK SNAKES! AHHHH maybe graphic

So is it certain that Milk Snakes will NOT eat ducklings or chicks?

I've noticed that almost everything that will eat rodents, will eat chicks and ducklings as well.

Not that I would have killed it myself, I am just saying..

AAAAAAAAAMEN!

I have to credit you though, Ticks. I rarely ever see people get the whole venomous/poisonous thing correct. Im constantly correcting people when they call a snake poisonous.

LOL......I gotta admit, THAT was my first thought upon reading the original post.

Then the "educate yourself" mode took over!

Ticks, holy cow! I've never even heard of a milksnake and if it looked like the picture you showed, I would have freaked long before wondering what "kind" of snake it was!! Glad neither you nor your critters were hurt!! I could ALMOST think a nonvvenemous one could be helpful to me under my shed to EAT THOSE MICE!!!!! ALMOST..no level of snake comfort here but I can see their benefit.

Ticks, Better safe than sorry

We have alot of those down here. I expect more since the neighbors just had a backhoe in digging up their habitat. We find them on our compost bin all the time. I love snakes, but if you feel they could be a threat to your little ones, maybe you can just find them a new place to live. I hope you dont have any more problems.
