Anyone know where the mill dates are on these?

Sometimes the mill date is stamped on the bag elsewhere, so look hard everywhere on the bag. The lot number could be it, in code. Ask at the store, and don't buy unless you are satisfied with the answer. Also, contact Cargill and ask them.
I like open dating, not codes, myself!

I don't have the bag for the coop brand feed anymore. I just happened to keep the tag off of it so the date could have been on the bag, I don't know.

There is what looks like a serial number on the side of the Country Road brand bags but that is all the numbers I could find. I'll get some pics of those. I emailed Cargill so maybe I'll get a reply back.

Hmm. The lot# codes could be it.

I've had that bag of oats for awhile since I just give it as a treat so lot#W9268 may mean 2019 268th day which is Sept 25 2019. That sounds like around the time I got them.

The bag of meatbird crumbles I bought right when all this virus mess started so I'd have an extra bag. So lot#W0071 may mean 2020 071th day which is March 11th 2020. That too sounds like around the time I bought it.

I guess the W would mean the plant that bagged it. This all is pure speculation at this point.

Well that wouldn't be their fault since I bought it awhile back. Actually if that Lot# is correct, then it would have been real fresh when I bought it. I just don't know exactly when I bought it so kinda shooting in the dark on when I bought both bags.

Havent heard anything back from Cargill yet, but I plan to look at the numbers on the feed when I go back to Rural King.

That 3rd sting of numbers on the side of the bag looks suspect to me. Could they be 176th day of 2019 and 356th day of 2018? That would put them a few months old when I bought them.

Called the local store and no one including the manager knows how to decode the date. Said there is no way to decode it if there isnt a mfg date on the tag. I figured that much before I called but they were very helpful. So old feed probably isn't going to get discarded before it gets sold.

Called another store and someone said to use the lot# and bag# and pointed me here:
Nutrena feeds FAQ
They looked it up by typing in the lot# and bag# somehow but I can't find where to do that.

The numbers on the bag I believe is from the manufacturer of the bag, not the feed.
I have the bag number and the mill date on a bag of Purina feed I'm currently feeding chicks.

20200617_134036.jpg . I see no correlation in code. The date code on Purina feed is on the sew strip on bottom of bag.
Nutrina Naturewise feeds are easy to decipher 20200617_134810.jpg . It's all on the tag. GC
