your Brinsea??!!! Mine is a cabinet model & it literally does it's own thing without much help from me. If you ever have a problem, Brinsea has the best customer service.

I was 10 days into an incubation when my auto turner died. I called them in a panic. Since it was still under warranty, they overnighted me a new one.

Please keep me updated on your hatch. I'm still amazed that you have some MFC that are due. Good for you !!!

I am very very happy I've purchased it. This will be my first 100% hatch. And even on shipped eggs!

I got the Eco 20. But next year I hope to get a another one or a cabinet.

I want the cabinet, but I think it might be a little big. lol. Maybe not.

I got some more work done on my silkie houses. But it's raining again.

So now I have to wait some more.

Yes, they are expensive but after hearing the horror stories of others with less expensive bators, I opted to save my pennies & buy the best of the best.

Mine holds 300 eggs & since I hatch weekly, I don't want problems. We raise Jumbo Coturnix Quail for a restaurant in San Diego so it is an on going thing. I also was gifted a commercial brooder (cira 1940) which my DH rewired & got into working condition. I have both the bator & brooder in the basement so I'm very fortunate indeed. Especially since only 1% of homes in California have basements~~~~!!!!!!!

I started with Brinseas. My first incubator was an O20 given to me by a friend, it went on for years, I eventually gave i to someone else starting out. Back in Britain we had the biggest Brinsea incubator & hatchers for a while until getting a commercial incubator/hatcher (2000 egg). The Brinseas had better hatch rates.

My first home-made mille project cochins are feathering out nicely--and appear to be a pullet & a cockerel! I lost my camera charger somewhere and need to find it--I think it's at the in-laws' house from the fire--but they are showing promise!

On another note--if anyone has a nice bird they are willing to part with, please PM me. I'm really wanting another hen or two.

Which model do you have? Really good company Brinsea; very easy people to deal with. And nothing is too much trouble; great incubators too.

Krys,

I have the Ova Easy 380 cabinet model....the first cabinet model they made. It is no longer available. I had some concerns regarding the construction/ etc. & sent them an email. Frank from Brinsea contacted me regarding my questions.

On the next model they manufactored they corrected what "I" thought was a concern. To thank me for my suggestions, they sent me some accessories & up-graded egg trays. It is wonderful when a company "listens"!

Hi everyone! I'm jumping on the bandwagon for this breeding project...hope you all don't mind! I love Cochins and have lots of other colors & lots of frizzles. I just LOVE this color and decided I have to take part in developing it! I have 2 dozen MFC eggs in the bator from tate and just purchased a started pair from Happy Chicken Mama...can't wait to pick them up! Here are pics of the pair I'm getting. I'd love it if you all could help me with a good reference on exactly what I should be aiming for with this color. Thanks in advance!
