Mille Cochin Info

Is this for bantams and standard or just standard?

It's for both. But it doesn't work as well for slow-feathering breeds (like Cochins). Although some say it works just fine for them.

Well, with the rainy days and muddy ground I have not been able to do as much on the farm as I would like so I have been going through my MFC kids.
I have some real good prospects coming up so in another month or so I will start selling pairs or trios from my past groupings. Stay tuned for some beauties to pop up on the auction here, if any make it past the locals that love them so well. I will be offering to them first because I told them I would but any not taken will be offered here and I will ship.
I will not sell just hens or pullets. The roos are just too nice to put in my freezer.

I have raised numerous kids out of all my birds but some must go to make room for the new and improved.

This is a baby picture of one of the girls I am selling.

And here is a baby photo of a roo I am selling.

Is anyone else thinking they need to sell out some older birds to make room for up and coming beauties? It can be a hard decision!

I hate these tough decisions...going to start letting some of the young kids go.I wanted to keep 2-3 pens this year just for the MF's but I'm not going to have the room.Just put up a real cute little roo from Fattie's flock.

So cute! I can see that last photo's caption saying, "What?!"

How does everyone get photos of the little buggers? As soon as I try to get a photo they go scurrying off. I can't get anything but empty air or maybe a blur. The only time I can get a photo is when they are asleep and those aren't so good. Those little babies are always in a hurry to do something.
My older ones are getting a bit better with the photos. I can often take them to a strange area to get a few but they soon try to fly off, too. I put my camera on continuous shots and take about a hundred. Usually I get one good one!
