Mille Cochin Info

Got my 2nd egg today!
I doubt they're fertile just yet, but can't wait!!

Must hurry up and get those pics of my other hen and roo!!

Too funny, Charlie!
You have some real beauties you are hogging all to yourself down there. I can't wait to see what you will be hatching out this next year.

Yeah.....if I could only find him!

Think she'd be a better match with the other guy I showed you a while back?

I could switch out that roo and put in the other roo and hen - ?? -

The guy with the sprigs could be in charge of one of the grow out pens...

I am trying to remember the other guy. You will have to show me another photo of him so I can compare them together. You know me and photos!

Besides, I love seeing all your birds again!

Will do - might have to bring them in the house for pics, like I did with the others!

Slim pickings around here - only 2 hens/pullets and 2 roos!!
and several little ones coming up, but most are too long...

The other guy is longer, but very beefy. Nice comb, lots of color.
Haven't really assessed him in a while - just visit with them, when I do my chores!

The other hen is covered in flowers right now - just growing in a HARD molt!

Think I'm going to have to go back to black mottleds for type?
If so, who has the type I need?

Here's my other hen - Honey:
She was all skinny b/c she was afraid of the dog, so here's a bunch...
she's also missing a LOT of her tail - just coming back from a HARD molt
- she looks about half her usual size b/c she's all pin feathers!!.

Here's the roo:

He's @ 7mths old - same for him - he was all skinny and long neck b/c the dog...

The hen kept stuffing herself under the roo and he would stare the dog down - What a good guy!!

Very good pattern on her! I think she is beautiful and can't wait til she comes back in full bloom. I just know she will give you some lovely babies. Just finding the right roo...........
