I'm trying to figure out how to do a signature! I'm so dumb sometimes

It felt weird, like I was the only person who used their real name for a user name... I've been meaning to do it for awhile now..
I guess people can call me Fancy if they want to.. at least it rhymes with Nancy?!

OK, apparently adding a signature is something I can't do while I'm a "new egg". So, a-posting I will go!

If you would like to change your username to something else and not have to start a new account then go to Forum Info and FAQ section. You can see on there where some questions have already been answered about it but basically you get a moderator (forget who does it more....TerryLacey maybe?) and ask them to change it for you. You can only do it once though.

To do a sig line, you can go to the same place and they should have detailed instructions or just click on your own name at the top right corner of the screen to go straight to your profile, scroll down the page and below everything else you should see a signature box. Under it you should see a clickable line that says Edit Signature Text.

WestKnollAmy- Just wanted to let you know I have 3 gorgeous babies from your mottled pens! I will try to get pics of them later today. I would have had a lot more if my loyal broody cochin hadn't had a blond moment and gone and sat in the corner fro 12 hours off her nest because she got confused! UGH! So I took the eggs from her and these 3 still made it! One from each pen actually. I think one of them is a blue mottled, is that possible?

So glad you got a great hatch! Even though your hen went a little blonde there! LOL Shows how strong eggs can be even after traveling a long way and not have the best incubating conditions. Amazing! And only 6+ eggs sent, too? Wow!

You are going to love these birds! I use them quite often in my MF project to improve type, chevrons and white tipping. But you probably already know that! However, I do not use the blue ones.

Can't wait to see photos as they grow. Congrats!

Hi all! I am new to chickens...my firs flock purchase still havent laid an egg. :0 but I am getting my first fancy chicken tomorrow and it's supposedly a show quality show stock Mille fleur Cochin bantam. I am rally excited. I also have the chance to pick up some silver laced Antakya Cochin straight run. Beautiful coloring on mom. So my question is.... What will happen if I breed my mfbc to a slbc? And does his coloring sound acceptable? His brother has a lot of black on his neck while this boy as a more camel colored neck but where his neck feathers meet the body there are black feathers.

Thanks for any input. I love mottled and lacing and the Mille pattern so I am excited.

If anyone is working on calico I have 2 pretty good cockerels available. They are out of my BLR project where some were split to mille. One is black calico and the other is blue calico. pm me if interested
