Mille Cochin Info

Sorry, I am not familiar with what real names are... who is Lynne?

Lynne is "Wingshadows Hacienda", if you go to her face book page she now has her boys for sale and will put the pullets up tomorrow. She has very very very lovely birds in addition to being a very very very lovely person!
Thank you "all" for promoting ME~! How nice of you :) Yes, I will have my started birds For Sale this month. Some of the boys are already on my FB page & the girls will be up tomorrow.

I was lucky enough to get one of Lynn's roos at a meet up and he is lovely. Great personality also, he is in the chick starter cage with a few mellow hens (where the chicks get to start being outside) and he is very good with them.

Helen,

So happy to hear that your little roo (from me) is doing well. I have Bantam Cochin roos in all my grow-out cages (started chicks). They make the "best" Baby Daddy's ~!

One of the roos I had thought I was going to keep but decided not to since I have so many more growing up.

However, here are 2 I am still thinking about keeping. I do not like the head on the lighter boy but his type has always been "almost there". I am wondering what he will be when mature. And the younger, darker boy is a twin to the one I sold last year and regretted so I am keeping this one. The one I sold is most handsome when I saw his photo last.

I am going down to the barn and see if I can get some photos of Quincy, a nice new roo I placed in Royale's spot when I did not like what he was giving me. Royale was sold when I was offered an amount I could not turn down for him. However, they could never name a price high enough for any girl's to go with him! LOL

This is Quincy. He is in with 2 girls, the buff Mottled pullet and a MF pullet. I haven't liked any of the buff Mottled roos I have hatched out. Maybe she will compliment him with color and type.
