Mille Cochin Info

Good mama Tuba,

lost my multi but i like the yellow feet darker hen

Well i am baby less again, due to a kiddo who loves Oz and has been doing extra chores for pretty much anyone who would give her one (and imagine that, the price was exactly what she had earned

) so she could have baby oz (promptly declared to be Danny and Sandy as she scooped them up in her arms) Yup i may not get very far very fast in my project at this rate but possibly i just passed crazy chicken lady genes to the next generation.

Ok, my MF pen is really dark inside but I don't have enough lead cords to put a light in there. Do you think I could put my chicks in with my MF's so they all can have light. My youngest in the brooder is Floyd at 3 months and Eli is the oldest at 4 months? I think if I could get a light in with them they may start to lay some eggs for me.

I do not mix my chicks with adults if they did not raise them. The only exception being my whites. That flock has raised numerous chicks that was not even hatched out by them. I add them in and they accept them but my other pens are not as loving.

BTW, love Ruger!

I went ahead and did it. They all get along really well except for the red frizzle hen. I only had her in there for a few minutes while I cleaned her and Nuggets pen. But, everybody else gets along fine. I can't wait to hatch from Rugar though. She hasn't laid an egg yet but I'm assuming that is from being shipped to me from Nancy and then my constant moving pens around until I find a group I like. I have some more pics to post if anybody wants to see them as well. I am uploading them now. I have multiple boys to sell so some of the pics are boys who need new homes asap.

You all know I've been trying to sell Rafael for a while but I figured I have new pics I might as well post them. His cushion is starting to come in but for being a May hatch I think he should be a lot nicer by now-

Floyd- I might sell him but for right now he isn't taking up much room and I want to see what he looks like once he matures. Plus, I've sold many boy I should have kept and kept many boys I should have sold. I don't want to repeat the process.

Nigus- he matured out to be better than I ever could have hoped for. The only thing he is really lacking is his pattern and points on his comb.

Harry-

Sandy-

I agree!! (about that chick's sweet little face)

Rugar was laying here, then she went broody and hatched *an* egg... but she didn't protect her chick. That was at least a couple of weeks or so before I sent her, so hopefully she'll get back to laying again soon!.
