Beautiful!!! I have 5 chicks from you that I hatched and I can't tell which ones are yours. I had some picken eggs too that I hatched out at the same time and almost all look the same. Some I can tell as these the roos are def not yours so they have been sold off. But out of the 16 chicks I have from that hatch, your 5 I can't pick out yet. By chance did your roo have black in him? I do have 5 that look very similar but I'm not sure.Guess it's been awhile since I've checked in. Great photos everyone! I like Ranger, Mike, so unique -- your mottled chick kinda looks like a pullet to me? Let's see what pics I have to share.. I love watching mother hens with their chicks in the summer. I have nearly all of my Mille Fleur girls put to work this year either brooding or raising chicks.![]()
Nellie with some Polish
Jazzy with some Silkies Have some nice grow outs this year
no name yet (even though I pegged him as a keeper early on)
Nelson![]()
Stella -- can't wait to see her at maturity!
Speckles I thought these chicks were going to be all I was going to hatch in Mille Fleurs this year, but I discovered another broody in one of the pens under a bunch of eggs yesterday, and I just smiled and walked away

thank you I love them to pieces. Lucky is getting more coloring in all the time. I never realized that you could spoil chicken's. But have found out you can. Hennie Pennie will come up and stand on your feet and give a couple pecks till you pick her up and hold her. Lucky only eats bugs that are hand fed to her by my husband. She will stomp her feet and scream at him till he gives in. But he can't hold her thats my job I guess.Hennie Pennie is lovely and Lucky is a lil cutie
