Mille Cochin Info

Pics
I love mine. They are just so adorable. My personal favorites are the real Mille Fleur looking one, and the black and white roo.

Don't worry. I will be keeping them around for many many months before I decide on which ones to keep. Who knows. I might be keeping them all.

Rosemary,

Your girls have just blossomed. I can't believe how beautiful they are. I have a new pullet that looks very similar to Hillary.

Since you posted these pics, I thought I would get pics today of Bridget. The girl who started it all. She is my first MFC project pullet & started me on this wonderful road. She just hatched chicks (not hers) two days ago & is very much the attentive Mom.

Thank you so much for the compliment.

No, Krys, Rocky wasn't in the project. However, I'm going to breed him to Bridget (when she gets back in the egg laying mode) & see what I get.

Rocky is from an egg I hatched from Anna May Carlson in Missouri. She has prize winning Red Bantams & Rocky is a beauty. I have never see the type of sheen he has in his feathers in any other bird....except my new MFC project cockerel (5 months old), Santiago. I think as he matures he will have more of the type I have been looking for.

Santiago

BTW, he has the black mottled chest with buff & brown accents.
