I need to get some pics up of my *single* girl & bajillion dudes.

The little female is beautiful, and there are 2 guys vying for "non-nugget" status.

One little roo is TOTALLY not what you folks are going for: he seems to be missing the red. The other is super-red with little black. Both have awesome personalities.

In a side note: none of them crow. NOT ONE. If they kept the quiet up, they'd have a free pass forever---you know, since they don't eat much

If I didn't know better, I'd look under their skirts.

You keep breedin' the non-crowing roosters, and I will keep breeding silkie roosters that crow at 5 weeks. The chicken world will bow at our feet.

OMG! I am with LareePQG! Send that roo to me! That is what I love to see in my pens and I know it is so wrong! But in my eyes, it is soooo right!

I have tried to keep everyone that grows up like that. Unfortunately, all three of my boys like that became crippled and I worry it has to do with a calcium deficiency. None of my dark ones have ever had a problem but those very white boys keep coming up lame. The first one so badly that I had to put him down and just cried my eyes out.

Hmmmm...seems odd, doesn't it? Weird that the light boys are having issues. If I sell that boy, I'll definitely let you guys know first! I have to make some decisions here in the next month or so...and I'm thinking it doesn't involve keeping more boys

. Even if they are pretty.
