I have my first Mille chick due to hatch this coming week. Unfortunately I think my Splash roo may be the daddy. The genetics calculator says that cross should give blue, so I guess I will know when it hatches. If it is the Splash, and I breed back to Mille... maybe Blue Mille's in the future?

I got this pretty girl from Lynne awhile back, and I just adore her. Unfortunately, after she came off of being broody last month my large fowl hens won't accept her anymore - she now lives alone in a tractor.

While I'm trying to get her a bantam coop-mate she spends time with my dogs and lounging on the patio.

I actually have 2 pullets coming from msbear this week, to be her coop-mates! They'll have to be quarantined for a bit, but hopefully by Christmas she'll have friends!
