Mille Cochin Info

LOL I am just the opposite. I give my EE eggs to my MFC girls to hatch and raise and I take all their eggs and hatch in an incubator and raise in a brooder. Today I have hatched out 11 MFC babies, 7 Mottleds, some ducks and blue wheaten Ameraucanas. Meanwhile, the MFC hens are happy with their EE chicks.

It's not the cochin eggs I can't hatch in an incubator, it's my call duck eggs I need a broody hen for. All my cochin eggs go in my incubators.

LOL That is what I am saying. I don't let my broodies hatch "good" eggs. Though I did let my GLW hatch out ducklings last year, I seldom hatch duck eggs under a broody.
