Argh! It throws all of us off when it does that. I keep up with folks on here but I don't "live" on here like I used to before the change. Now it is mostly all FB.
And for a while the mods would go behind us and take out our posts that said anything about FB but now I see them leaving it all. I am suspecting there are way too many folks talking about it.

I can post smileys and photos without problems but have had problems in the past. A lot!

actually, i have no problems with this, but i can't figure out fb, and don't have any desire to try... so i'll stick with byc.

rule #1 make sure windows is completely up to date, and check for 'optional' updates for IE. if you're not using IE, that might be part of the problem. if you are, try another browser (firefox or chrome maybe) and see what happens. also, you might try using the 'compatibility mode' in IE (to the right of the address bar), sometimes that's it.

I have an OLD blue bantam "cochin" hen from Murrey McMurrrey (like, 9yrs old). She has a head like brahma (pea comb, lots of waddle) and dark legs like my black crested Polish. Of course I really didn't notice till I got "real" cochins a few months ago and started studying up on standards..
My black mottled cochin hen hatched ONE blue chick on Wed. and it has dark legs. Dad is a Mille Frizzle Cochin. Go figure. The one egg to hatch wasn't even hers and came out of an ancient mixed hen...

I was looking at your birds on FB and they are beautiful! My question is are these LF or bantams? and do you have LF calico's for sale? Maybe I should ask if the calico's are ever LF ....

i haven't heard of anyone working on them... if they are, they're not vocal about it.

my own are all bantams... 8 hatched on the 5th, 9 more due the 18th, and just set 6 more today.

Just in case you are waiting on a reply - I think maybe you have the wrong person. I mean I do have some pics of my chickens on FB but I have a personal pg. & not sure you are a "friend".

I'm really having trouble with BYC. .. I downloaded new things to my computer ( Chrome) and I STILL have to "preview" before I can post, I still can't add pictures (or smileys) and I can't edit my ad. Earlier I couldn't PM, haven't tried it yet now.
