I've had two people ask if I could sell an extra hen with this pair so I will post her on here. She's a whole lot fluffier than the first pullet and a tiny bit darker
It's been a mess here so, hopefully, I can post a better pic of her soon once the rain stops
She's $20 extra.. on top of auction price which is a great deal to whomever wins but, I can not sell her separately. If the winner chooses not to take her, I will probably post another auction with another roo. He's similar to this roo but with orange saddle feathers.
Ohh, I LOVE them!! You are killing me! I just lost my sweet mille fleur cochin Miss Betty a few weeks ago and these guys remind me so much of her! They are beautiful!
I have some cochins I raised but I call them Calico rather than Mille Fleur.
I have seen other people with cochins with this much white call them calico, I haven't seen any for a while and now that I am moving to the country I can finally have a roo!! I love these little birds, they are so sweet!
I prefer to use the term mille fleur project because that is what they are. The term calico was created for these high white results from the project but, it is unclear whether they breed true or have any specific genes which qualify them for their own variety so, I will use the correct terminology. ..You buy them and you can call them whatever you want
