ya know, if I am on the right track here is is all about "men in suits' making the $$ on working people's backs. Really sad............but just my humble opinion...............

Huh?? Not sure what you mean?

Likely not a subject I want to get into here in retrospect.
Government.....taxes....rules & regulations. Make sense now? Men in suits?

Didn't expect this thread here but okay.......once they test your birds at your home and give you a number they are then allowed to come back anytime and drop in to check on your birds. If an "epidemic" breaks out then they can come and kill all your birds and you can't tell them squat. Had friends go through that when they had absolutely nothing wrong with their birds. Not going to happen here. SC is an almost free state. We can sell fresh milk and eggs without restrictions and I don't want there to be any.
I agree about the men in suits remark. We are already governed way too much.

Nadine,

Wizard & Dan the Man are "STUNNING" in type.

Thanks, Lynne, you are such a sweetie!
Wizard and Dan the Man came from Danny Ledford in GA. It may take me longer to get pattern out of them but the type is so worth keeping. I am actually getting decent colors and patterns from those boys with the right hens. And they are super sweet fellas. Not like some roos I have gotten from others. I like to keep temperament in there, as well.
Still and all, it will be a while before I can get close to what you have going. But know I am doing my best!

I third your comments. Not NPIP and never will be. I feel that the government intrudes on us enough. I also agree that Wizard & Dan the Man are stunning!

You guys are so awesome. Thanks!

I feel lucky about having those 2 roos. Danny certainly is another one that is more about type than color and patterns. Though he is doing a great job in both areas. It can be frustrating to try and get both but I just feel too strongly about type to just look at the paint job. I can't afford much and Danny was a sweetheart to help me out. These roos will live here forever and will be able to retire in comfort when the time comes.

I wanted to post an update about the eggs and shipping. There is a major snowstorm headed our way and I may not be able to send out the eggs until Wed. But know that during that time I will collect the eggs from the pens and send those extras right along. You may get as many as 2 dz because of the storm! For time lost you will gain so whomever wins may get a lot of eggs for a great price!

When it snows here in the south our roads are not passable for a day or so. Please bear with me and good luck!
