Mille Fleur Leghorns- cockerels or pullets?

They are still a little young. My guess will stay the same, but you should repost when they are 8-12 weeks old.

Patience?! Who has that?!! You're totally right on wait time, but I was hoping someone who's a Leghorn fan could spot cockerels early. They haven't had an awkward phase yet- like Marans- they've been good looking chicks the whole time. Loving the patterns and colors.

I don't think they're pure. I am even willing to bet that they will have red ear lobes.

They are pretty though!

Oh my heck! Had a break between meetings and went out to check. One has white, and one has red/pink. Guessing the Sussex wasn't too far back.

It's OK with me, not a breeder- but hope I still get lots of eggs and no broodiness if they turn out to be pullets!

Either way they're pretty and the girls will lay eggs!

Just realized that there are three separate birds.....I was thinking the white was the second bird. Of course, she isn't MF.

There's two supposed MF Leghorn, correct? Both male then.
If they were more Leghorn-like I'd be wondering why they don't have more comb.

Yeah, I'm confident both are little cockerels. I can't see for a minute either being ladies.

@Overo Mare and @OneHappyRooster the more I watch them, the more I hate to admit I think you're right. Was really hoping for some girls, especially as pretty as they are. Will keep their little spazzy butts until they crow I guess...
