Mince garlic

Hello,

I have read that fresh mince garlic is great for your chickens. I have been doing that, but since I am always busy, was wondering, if the garlic they sale already minced at the grocery store, that is preserved in water, would also work? Or it must be fresh in order to take advantage of the benefits?

Thank you.
How much of grocery minced garlic that preserved in water did you give your chicken and how offended

I would always recommend buying garlic that was grown near you, or at least in your country. Sadly, a lot of the pre-crushed and peeled garlic in the jars comes from China and I have read about some horrific working conditions for the workers that are peeling the garlic BY HAND. Think burnt off skin, nails, etc. Here is a brief explainer, about prisoners. https://www.ft.com/video/140c3fa5-a3c1-438b-9601-e92ad0e1b395
