I put the Blue Face Hen with new guy. He tried to mate her once already. She's close to start laying eggs again.

That should be a good pairing especially the blueface part. Are you looking for the flary eye grey look that that stag seems to have?

No, unfortunately. I lost 6 birds, 5 of which I lost within a week. $500 loss in a week. Ouch.
