First project Mini Pullet should start laying next month.

So far I got good traits for identifying males early, one's that cause Saddles as early as 4-8 weeks of age. Pullets mature at their own rates.
 
One 7 month pullet is growing in spurs. It's the Silver Duckwing.
Is that normal for game fowl? I’ve heard it can happen with pullets but I’ve personally never noticed it on any of mine, game or otherwise, but that might be because it’s not something I normally pay attention to.

Yes, it is, fairly common. Even one of my Malays hens has spurs.

I've even got a Largefowl Chinese Silkie hen with spurs, which she grew at 6 months. I had 3 spurred Silkie hens, 2 didn't survive the trip.
