We have 2 Nigerian dwarf goats (twins) who are 1 year old and live together happily in a small pasture. They have been introduced to different kinds of animals and don't have any fears. Sometimes when they sneak out of their pasture they go run a play with the neighbors horses (who love them). Anyway... A family friend of our has two adult mini donkeys and needs to find a place to keep them. I told her I would considering taking them. And keeping them in the goats pasture. I was wondering if it is safe to keep them together since the goats are so small? Of course they would be indroduced thru a fence for a couple of days but eventually I would like them to be living together. Any ideas how to make the transition more smooth? Or is not a good idea?

Thank you!

this is a chicken site not a donkey site so is suggest you would get more help asking people who have donkeys, for me it might be like chickens so I would slowly introduce them it might be ok but try it with a fence between them and it might work out but I have horses not donkeys so it may not work

While that is true (that this is a chicken site) there is actually a section for "other livestock" discussion and questions here
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/22/other-pets-livestock - as well as a link to the backyardherds site -- both of which would be helpful to the OP
