Mini Rex Babies NEW PICTURES 3/13/11!!!

Ahhh, they look about the same age as my Mini Rex litter of 7. I have another rabbit starting to build her nest now.

Can I ask you a stupid question? What do you do with mini Rex's? Pets, meat, or sell? Just curious. How are they in the heat during the summer?

My mini rex's are for pets and to sell....


I keep my rabbits in the shade in the summer and keep fans going. When it is really hot, i take frozen water bottles and frozen ceramic tiles and keep in their cages to keep them cool. The heat is hard on any rabbits, i just try to keep them as cool as possible. I also take cool whip bowls and freeze water in them and dump the chunks of ice on their cage floor and they like to kick them around and play with them, while cooling off and cooling the air down around them.

Too cute!! We just bred our mini rex's. We should have some nice bunnies in 30 more days. Now your making it even harder to wait.

You have some adorable bunnies. We had 6 Rexes born on 2-23-11 and 5 more 8 days later. they are so cute and the mothers are very good mama's.

Wow, they are sooo PRETTY! Gorgeous! I have a chocolate mini, she is beautiful. I love that color too.
