Good morning, someone left miniature roosters and two chickens in my neighborhood. There were four but a falcon ate one of the chickens. They are miniature size. I need someone to rescue them, I am scared the falcon will come back to hunt them. I already got him away when I saw it but they can be killed by any other predator. Can you please help me or direct me who to contact? My name is Rose. Thank you.

If you can, please catch them and bring them to safety, even if it’s only something temporary, like a box inside your home.

Do you have a rescue league for animals? Ours rescues farm animals, they've had chickens, horses, pigs, also have barn cats.

Or there may be another rescue nearby. Also I agree with another post. If you can help corral them to safety, that would be great!

Glad to meet you, Rose. You are a champ for wanting to help these abandoned birds! Try Craigslist, any local Facebook Poultry groups and our thread for whatever state you are in. You could also call your local animal control or Humane Society. In the meantime, you might put an old table or such out there where they can hide from the falcon. It won't help them with ground predators, though. If you have a dog kennel or animal carrier on hand, you could put that out for them to hide in, and it would be some help. We are rooting for you! Please let us know what happens.
