minimum pen size for a pair of peafowl?

I run 1-2 males with 4-6 hens in 25x 50 foot pens with an 8x8 shelter, (which they seldom use) 12 foot tall top with 2x4's for roost inbetween the 12 foot poles, thats where they always spend all their roosting time at, hardly ever in the houses

We have 3 different size of pens, we have four that are 10 x 45, four that are 10 x 25 and eight that are 10 x 20 all of them have a 10 x 8 shed, we also have a 25 x 50 and a 25 x 70 grow out pen. And we are also in the process of building 20 more pens but not for peafowl.

I've never read or heard of such small size for Peafowl.
In the book by Kieth Howman, Pheasants of the World, the minimum recommended size is 400 sq. ft.
I have other books stating the same size.

can i be you when i grow up??? i want that setup.... lol... going to your website in a m inute to see what you've got.. lol...

i can't help with pen size, the peas i had freeranged 24/7..... but they were at the house when i moved in, so i don't know their history, but the neighbor said when the last person moved out they locked 5 peas in a 7x14ish 5'tall dog kennel... thank god he came and cut the chain and let them out.... that was definatley too small for 1 bird let alone 5....

i don't know the exact but if you think about it, those trains in full display are HUGE!! and that's part of mating, so you gotta give the boys room to dance.... we all know how clumsy and goofy males dancing can be...
i had feathers i picked up from last years molt that were almost as tall as me....

good luck with your new pen... post some pics when you're done...

What is the minimum size pen for a pair of peafowl? would 100 square feet be good?
We were planning on supporting 2pair in a hundred square feet pen. With a smaller pen set up for roosting. However. B I think I’ll do with what a lady on here said she does and her peacock use it the most. 2 by 4’s set up in a pole barn. For roosting.
