mink outsmarting LGD?

A long time ago when I first got chickens, I tried to feed the raccoons thinking that if they weren't hungry, they'd not bother my chickens. Pretty funny, eh.
Well.......... I started out with 3 raccoons and before I knew it, my porch was filled with raccoons, raccoons fighting over that food. I used to think they were cute too, until I watched them fight each other..Talk about scary!

As cute as they may look, they can be super vicious even toward each other.

LOL,
yea, the only thing feeding coons accomplishes is getting MORE coons.
Coons are TOUGH predators and are not something to tangle with unarmed.,,

So, I have yet to acquire a baby monitor but so far, so good. I followed the other suggestions about filling/blocking holes and removing lower roosts. The mink is still here - it's little bounding tracks are all through the run and it made a tiny tunnel in the snow - but thankfully the ground is now too frozen for it to dig actual dirt :) BF ordered me a body trap, he checked on the order today and it's sitting in new jersey. Hopefully it'll arrive before the ground goes soft next, which is supposed to be next week sometime.
