Here's an update on those minks that escaped a fur farm in Sunbury, Pennsylvania about 3 months ago.

There are still probably over 1,000 minks still on the loose and are slowly being seen more north ( not good news for me ). They have recorded over 1,000 minks hit by cars along the roadways nearby.
According to a local new station someone that lives less than a mile from the mink farm started seeing mink about 2 weeks ago. The mink have set up camp in/around her home. They are continuing to trap them and return them to the mink farm. But here's the best part, she and her husband keep chickens. 😲 All I can hope is nothing happens to them or their chickens!
Minks are fully able to get into a small, almost unnoticeable crack in your chicken coop. And they will kill the whole flock just, well, for the fun of doing so. Minks are nothing but trouble to have in your chicken area.
These people have locked up their chickens inside cages in their basement. This family also keeps horses and other pets that could be harmed by the on the loose minks.
Police are still investigating the break in of the fur farm that once housed these minks. They are still trying to find out who cut the fence and why they did it.

Hopefully that helps to sum things up and inform you of what's going on.

Probably would have been better to give the Update on the Original thread from September, it would be more relevant. Or at least have linked to the Original thread....https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/minks-on-loose-in-pa-recently.1598965/page-2
