Minnesota!

I was just knee high to a grasshopper when we moved so I wasn't around long enough to grow attached I guess. I do enjoy a good deep dish though

Ahh,, I like the thin crust myself, the thinner the better.

Just bought some cattle panels from an old friend. He gave us a little bail of hay, 10 square bales, and a very nice box to transport goats. For free. Because he's a nice Finnish farmer from MN. How do I show my deep appreciation for his kindness? Drop off fresh homemade bread and farm eggs a few times?

Fresh Homemade bread and rolls will say thank you like nothing else will! I love it.

My family and I just got a couple goats! THEY ARE AWESOME!! Mine is totally bonded to me he will follow me everywhere!

I want goats so badly! Did you know goat meat is eaten by more people than any other meat. I have to admit if I had goats, camp day would really cluck.

I have a solution for Big Bird and his attackers. The attackers are going to be moved to Guinea Gulag. That includes Penguin, my DW's favorite one. They want to act like Guineas they can live with the guineas.

I have WAY too many young toms, one of them may even take Big Birds place at thanksgiving. They would be skinny, but 2 of them would work instead of one big bird. Right now I moved Big Bird out to the CX's area to eat and drink.. But he is too large to go into their coop/brooder/tractor.

I am so disappointed in the young Jakes, I really thought we raised them to be better than this. Now they will have a criminal record the rest of their lives.

We are going to pay a butcher, a fellow in Buhl. I am anticipating a very difficult time sending them to a butcher but I have a group of fellows who all want goat meat so, yeah. I'll be giving it a try.

I definitely like thin crust.

I hope my chickens will occasionally ride the goats....(to add a bit about chickens).

I'm so wanting more chickens, lots of different varieties... hubs says NO! not til spring :( ugh! it gets so cold up here in 'north country' that I am sure he is right.... we need to scale back our Roo population too. Keeping one RIR roo and the 2 banty roo's to be with the girls for the winter. then mix it up with chicks in the spring. hoping to get a broody hen to hide a few babies at a time under? maybe? jealous of those adding at this point of the summer!

Hello! I've been reading this thread for awhile now and thought I would introduce myself. I'm from Dayton, Mn.
I currently only have two pekin ducks and two pilgrim ganders. No chickens YET... Hopefully in the near future after we do some much needed work to our barn. :)

Since most of you own chickens this may be a shot in the dark but was wondering if any of you breed and sell call ducks. We are looking for a few that are under a week old... I would love to hear from you. Thanks, and have a wonderful day!

Welcome and sorry, no ducks here. Just a plethora of chickens. And don't offer me any. Resistance is futile
