I have only seen them once in my life. I would love to see them again. So beautiful.

DW and I are discussing scheduling of how we can keep them fed. they are doing so-so on learning the bottles, but they are eating some. Hopefully they get better with practice! We werent planning on having cats in the house, but things dont always go to plan now do they :) the dogs will have some adjusting to do I have made them a nice home in a box with a towel den and a heating pad.

All I did was hand the auctioneer my bank card and drove it home. I used it last year for 25 birds and it does an okay job. It is just not as cool as a whizbang.;

I wish they would stay awake longer but they are wanting to go in the coop earlier and earlier.. I hope all is going well for you and your flock....

Great news, Getting new birds is so exciting and a tad addicting.

If my math is right you re still 4 chicks short of the legal limit for Anoka, Any idea what those 4 will be?

Holding and petting a chicken is an oddly comforting sport. I am avoiding holding and petting and have been for the last few days. I need to put some distance between me and the babies before Saturday. I am hoping someone else will volunteer to remove the heads, I think that will be easier for me. I have kind of fallen in like with these gals. Once the head is gone they are just food.
