Today I had to put my old Aussie down. Paddy was 14. The vet came out to the house which was nice, he passed with all of us with him. He is the whitest dog second on left in my avatar.![]()

LOL... but i might be getting kicked off BYC.. someone said something very rude on another thread and it just rubbed me the wrong way so I left them a NOT nice comment... If i do get kicked off It was nice being around...
I have a question to those of you that sell BB turkeys.
What do you sell them for? How do you determine the price?
I am selling mine (1) to an independently rich person from the cities, does that figure in?
Hey! I thought you were selling me that one!! Whoever this independently rich person is, they should be warned they are going to get a swift kick to their northside.I have a question to those of you that sell BB turkeys.

I have a real question about chickens.
Do they go on hunger strikes? I moved my oldest remaining hen I got from Heidi into the Creamette coop and run. She does not like being there. Yesterday, as I was adding a feeding water area to there coop, I had to open the chicken door between the two areas, Then I reached for a tool and the little buggar escaped! She even looked back at me as she ran to the coop she wanted to be in and raised her wing as if to give me the finger.
I went and got her last night and carried her back to the Creamette coop. I noticed her crop was empty, I always check the crop when I hold a bird,. I also though she felt light and thin, She did not have much meat on her, but I am use to holding my CX's and it could be just the difference between a small bird and a large bird. I seldom hold my layers and they are not lap birds. I do hold the Sussex's I got from Aussiegal as they seem to want to be held, but they have a body type different from a creamette. Anyways just wondering if she is ok?
I found a chicken Sitter, Justin, the neighbor kid that helped on Camp Day. is going to watch them. They are getting 4-5 chicks next spring. I am going to talk them into the Sussex's if I can, they are so friendly. BTW I got the first egg yesterday from them.
