Minnesota!

Hello Everybody!
So I have decided I would like to try some different breeds of chickens, which for me means I have to sell some chickens. I have 18 hens and 1 rooster.
1 Ameraucana trio $35
All the other pullets are $10 each
2 Light Brahma
2 Silver Laced Wyandotte
1 Golden Laced Wyandotte
1 Black Sexlink
10 Mix Breeds that came from a flock of Welsummer, Maran, Ameraucana, Barred Rock, and Buff Orpingtons
I will sell the whole flock for $180
PM me for more info!

Also, the next breeds I'm looking to get are Ameraucanas, Standard Cochins, Welsummers, Buckeyes, New Hampshires, Delawares, and possibly some Copper Marans, California Greys, and Anconas. I know Theri breeds the Welsummers, New Hampshires, and Cochins but do you guys know of any local sources for good quality chicks of the other breeds?

Well as soon as my other flock of hens is sold I'm going to be getting on a waiting list for chicks. So what are the pros and cons of Buckeyes vs New Hampshires?
And I'm assuming that when you said you breed Black that you also have blue and splash right?
Oh, and what are your chick prices?

My two SLW decided to go on a walkabout this afternoon. One made it back to the coop alone.

But no one told me about this until I went outside to lock down for the night and saw a shadow of a hen.

There she was. But didn't argue when I picked her up and deposited her in the pen. She high tailed it into the coop!

15 eggs!

i got my new incubator out and put together. i have read the instructions a few times through and watches some youtubes. I kind of want to plug it in and try setting the temp but then i will want to set some eggs... if you give a mouse a cookie ;)

oh oh temptation is a terrible thing! I know people do hatch in the middle of the winter, but.....( ok, I mean they hatch eggs, not people) . If I had an incubator I would be dying to try it too!
