I'm glad to see someone close to me. We are starting out this year with new chickens. I have 4 black copper marans (6 weeks old)coming any day now and getting 12 BO's and 13 Cuckoo marans in may. Dh brought home 5 gooslings last night and my daughter wants to get some banties from L&M Fleet tomarrow.

Banymama, if your BCM's do well, I will be coming for a visit! I have been trying to find someone to get BCM's from that is CLOSE, and DL is a hop-skip-and-a-jump from us!!! We will have to compare notes sometime!

just got 10 Buff Orpingtons from L&M Fleet today!!! they peeped all the way home. I put them in the cardboard brooder with the heat lamp @ 95 degrees and they seem to be doing fine,,

Hi fellow minnesotans- I am from Waterville. South between Mankato and Faribault.
We are getting our first chicks next week. Buff Orps. Getting excited!! Got the brooder all ready and waiting.

I saw them last night they are so cute. We are going there friday to let our daughter pick out some banties. They had some chocolate colored ducks there that were so cute i had a hard time leaving with out getting a few.
