I see NO Minnesotans posted yesterday. Could that be because it was 65 DEGREES HERE?

I went to an early dog class and then I was outside all day, raking out the coop, and then pruning a couple of apple trees that were 20 ft high that had never been pruned. After that I took the dogs into town to walk up and down the sidewalks by the lake as being the cleanest place to walk with all the snowmelt. Then I sat on my deck and drank a beer in the sunset. Sigh, it was a wonderful day..

Planning my coop right now. First thing though is a big fence to keep the neighbor dogs away from my hens.

I wonder if the same "sun shock" got us too! LoL. I spent the whole day outside in the sunshine (I think that is what they call it)

Built a rabbit hutch and hope to work on my new aviary panels this week for the pigeon aviary and the chicken coop area. Nice aint it? My two dogs didn't know what happened to my mind since I wouldn't let them go back into the house all day and made them "suffer" out in the sun/shade areas with food dishes and water. By nightfall there was a stampede to the door the moment I let them off their cables! Spoiled I do think. Hopefully we have another wonderful day today and so do you

Hello everyone! I just got some new chicks from a lady near me. six EEs, 2 americanas, 1 welsummer, and 1 blrw. They are all doing well. Anyone have a silkie chick or two to get rid of? I'll take em off your hands?

Hello everyone from Brainerd,

Well I have been busy with hatching out some ducklings and some new chicks. I even bought some adult ducks (Rouens) from a hatchery. Cleaned up the fowl yard, I don't have a chic pen but a fowl yard. Their area is the size of most peoples yards. Worked outside and even took a nape on the old hay wagon this afternoon, I'm a bit red but it was WORTH IT!!! Lets pray for more of this only with rain at night.
