I would like to do a huge shout out to my sister's best friend Haylee.
Haylee put on her story on SnapChat a picture of some HUGE storm clouds that she had seen going past there place, and my sister told me, and because kof Haylee all of my birds are safe are sound in the coop.
Thanks so much Haylee:rolleyes:

Sadie Mae came home tonight. We are smitten and our home has a void filled.

Here is our first look

I had to move Momma Summer & her brood to a modified box. She was protective, but not aggressive. As you can see the lone egg.
When I went back down later today, she had kicked the egg out & taken her chicks outside. There was peeping & the chick had an opening. I brought it up to the house & set it on a heating pad; I had to really watch the temp closely & turn it on & off so it didn't get too hot. The chick got out most the way with a bit of shell stuck to it. It's little. I really don't expect it to make it, but what the heck, expect the worse, hope for the best.

In some ways I miss not having puppies around. They are so fun to train & work with. Because we have the senior citizen center (14,12, & 9) here, we decided not to get a puppy until after the old dogs are gone.
