I did it!!! I got my first EE x Splash Cochin!!! I am so excited and will share pics when it dry in the brooder. I got 3 blue babies from this hatch and should have more in the next batch. I know someone wanted some of these possibly. If u still want hatching eggs I will have them.


I put the birds in their new coop last night. They have to spend a few days in there I learned. So now I have an 8x8 coop for my 3 turkey poults and a 5x5 for all my breeder birds. They only have to spend the night in there so they should be fine.

Advice Needed

My first group hatched on 08 May

The Jersey Giants on 12 June.

When is it safe to put them together? They share a coop and separate fenced area. Zeus is mighty interested but neither seems stressed by other.


And it's awful to lose a feathered friend for any reason.

SF I have my day olds with 10 week olds. But my bords r used to babies since I always have hatches.
