I'm pretty sure duluthralphie you coined Creamettes. And when you think of it...how nice it is to roll of the tongue vs. Crested Cream Legbars. Yup. Don't ever underestimate the good space a mature Labrador inhabits in the home. I'm over it....the puppy phase. complete PITA.

I need to go mow the lawn and lay down guilt trip to a 13 year old boy with brand new polarized fishing sunglasses. (my secret weapon) I've been asking for lawn mowing for the last 4 days.

Good luck with the mowing in this heat, drink plenty of water and take breaks! I mowed 5 hours yesterday in that heat, push mower, as I do around trees, fences, gardens etc. I even have a manual push mower for the hill on top of the wall. It was getting to hard with the regular push mower, the thing pushed me off the wall about a month ago, no fun. I had to turn and jump down 4 feet, which may not sound like much, but at my age... My husband rides the rider. But with 4 acres of chain link fence, and many obstacles it is no fun in that heat with the push mower.

There is a plus side to everything, got 25,000 plus steps on my fitbit

When I walked into my office and sat down to read today's on goings, I had a turkey avocado sammie with a rosemary basil aioli. Now it is gone and I can't seem to find it. Do you think I may be getting alzheimer's?

BR, do you have a dog or cat with access to said office, therefore, afore mentioned 'sammie'?

My "new" coop. It holds 100+ chickens and has a door between 2 sides.

This is the old run. We fenced in the whole woods around the coop so the new run is big.

How hard is it to attempt to train a year old retriever to not chase birds or cats? Not worth my effort?
