Congrats on finding your double secret egg nest. Rascally girls. Maybe it's time to clean up the chicken yard....just a thought....LOL...Too many lairs for the layers.

I cannot clean up that area, it is going to be the CX's "semi-Free-Range" area next week. It is 3-4 high with weeds, a topper, old water heaters and so forth! Why I happen to have pictures of their future playground..It is too hot to get anything done, so BYC I am here for the day.







The nest picture is the redneck brooder/covered run/tractor the CX's will live in until Oct 9th, when they move to freezer camp.

I need:
Oats
rye
corn
barley
and almost anything else a chicken will eat.

My son use to live in Aberdeen, I learned of some great goose and pheasant spots when he was out there.. I can draw you a map for a 6pack.
