I am a failure!

My poult/hen graft has failed. The hen went crazy on me. She started throwing the poult left her nest started singing the egg song and scratching for food.

I saved the poult and the other two eggs from her attack of wackidoodleness  and have them back in the hatcher.  I was out with her watching from a distance because I have had grafts that look good at first fail....


So unless the other two eggs hatch I will be stuck raising a single poult.  Which means it will be a house turkey for a few weeks... and that means I will get attached to it and geez I hate the can of worms this is opening....



Anyone here interested in a single pet house turkey?

'That road has been closed since some major flooding a few years ago. As far as I know there are no plans to ever repair and reopen that road.

You can go as far as the campground from the Carlton side and as far as the power plant from the Fond Du lac side. The best parts are gone.

Yep. The redone parts were to the campground.

Yep, it use to be a through road. When I lived and worked up there I use to take the drive just to relax on bad days. It was a great drive from Carlton to Fond Du Lac to Wrehshal and back,..

She lives in Minneapolis? There has been a boom of us since it has been legalized, but 9 years old? There were a few early starters I guess. Law or no law. ;-)

No she lives in Prior Lake, she works as a server at Ruth Chris. She was so sweet to show me chicken pictures when I asked if she had any (silly question I know, but she was working).
