Kinda hard to see But i think the Cream is the most adventurous,, she is the one that will come up to me or at least by me,, she will go by my Bella (dog) without any problems and this morning she was the 1st to come out of the pop door...

and guess i shouldn't have been so worried.. they all made it safely through the night...
and that pile of straw just ignore that.. I had no idea how much came in a bundle till i opened it..LOL..

Okay - another newbie question. I think I know the answer but going to ask for opinions anyway.

These 5 chicks that are left from my original 8. I have 2 LO - believe more and more each day I've got a pair. I have a confirmed Roo in the BLH -- they aren't much over 2 months (3?) old (I don't know how old they were at purchase - she claimed a week but they were much bigger than week old chicks and more feathered)

I'm noticing some behavior that seems to be claiming territory - but it's infrequent - at least when I'm watching them. I can go out to the house at any time and will find them all sitting around or roosting -- no fighting or anything.

Do I need to go ahead and separate them now or let them sort it out? They are still way too young to be let out when Ole and Lena are out - at least size wise - so I'm not sure what's the best for the birds.

My gut says get another house for the time being but my pocket book says please don't.
