Minnesota!

I picked up the baby cochins and they are absoulty the cuteist things I have seen. I can't wait until they get older and discover each of their personality's. I hope I get more pullets then cockerls.

My DH has been busy making cages for the Pierz auction on Saturday. One more day and they will be finished.

I wish I could go to the Pierz auction. I used to go when they were in Mora. I remember they sold a huge cage and you got the two tigers free that were in it. It wasn't legal to sell the tigers apparently, so they did it that way.

Bogtown Chick, did you actually take that picture you posted?  I would have to hang that on my wall.  It is a really good picture.  FYI:  If anyone is looking for lavender orps I should have some chicks to sell for the next couple of weeks.  I have a few due to hatch today.
no I didn't take that picture. Its off of google images. My time with him lasted about 30 seconds armed only with my Kemp's Chicken scratch ice cream Bucket. :)

I haven't seen signs of him now the last few mornings that we've been back. ( before there were holes in the hay as he looked for mice in the run I'm sure) the ruin of his den with a stick and our other aversion attempt might have sent him packing for a bit. I think now too my roo might have tangled with him several days earlier. As an after thought I remember seeing fresh blood on my roosters leg. At the time ithought it was just a battle w other roo but now I'm thinking Roger got acquainted with his resident ermine.
