Minnesota!

Are any of you certified NPIP testers or APHA  whatever they are called?

I see there is a class coming up in Sauk Rapids and Mankato.

I will be. I am taking the Mankato class next week. I mostly want to be able to do the testing on my own flock. Any one else going to Mankato?

Well things here on the Triplell Farm SUCKS!!!! DH is making it very hard for me to keep any chickens past March. He wants them all gone at the Pierz Auction. At this time we are seperated and he's in control of all $ as i dont have an income.

Cream Legbars are all for sale...$150.00 a Trio x 2

I also have many S.Q. B/B LF Cochins $150.00 a Trio x 4 obo

Plus a Pair of Splash LF Cochins plus 1 that hasnt decided what it is.

I'm fighting to keep my Bantam trios x 2.

I hate to do this as they are all my babies. The Legbars are from Greenfire Farms lines C & D. The Cochins started from Minniechickmama's lines. I have breed them for Show Quality and have done awesome at our county fairs. The Judges keep asking me to take them to Hutch and show as they feel these will compete very well.

Thank you Minnie for such a wonderful start.

If you are interested or have questions just PM me.

Triplell

Cream Legbars are now $130.00 per trio x2
Cochins are now $130.00 per trio x4

Please these must go do to personal, marital problems. Give me your best offer.

Hi all! New to the chicken world and just wanted to pop in and say hello. We bought a hobby farm last November between New Ulm and Mankato. This will be our first year having chickens :)
welcome. I'm new here also and getting chicks in May. We are near the twin cities. :)

I thought about it, but did not sign up. In my defense, I am a horrible procrastinator, and did not learn about it until Monday night. Now the sign up date is gone and Mankato is so far away..... and....

Welcome to BYC and welcome to this thread... What kind of chickens are you getting? How many? How big a farm? good luck..... And Bert says Hi too...

I am keeping Bert inside today. It is just too cod for him outside and I do not want to chance his losing more feathers off his butt....

Those of you not retired may think the life of a retiree is all peaches, it is not. Here is what I was forced to endure this morning while trying to enjoy my coffee. Pearl, Bert's wingman wanted to go outside and see Bert or see if he had recently pooped, I am not sure which.....

Her begging is so subtly, BTW she put her hand on me before I touched her her, I was telling her it is too early to go outside. I gave in and let her out.
