I have no turkeys that "SHOULD" be able to give me that combination of colors.

I know some will think I am more crazy than normal, and I have only seen the picture. BUT I think it COULD be a guinea/chicken hybrid..

if it is OLE and EJB is to blame. I told you Ole runs down any female he can!

Here is a thread on them, look at the pictures posted on it.

Yesterday while I was putting the finishing touches on our chicken coop, we had the babies in a pen next to the coop. Because I'm neurotic and was working, my daughter relaxed in a lawn chair next to the chicks.

Suddenly my stupid dog comes racing around the corner and leaps into the pen, grabs a chick in her mouth. My daughter starts screaming and crying, I race out to the pen and grab the dog. She drops the chick who limps away and hides.
After I tied up stupid dog we checked on the chick, she was still alive but lethargic. I thought she would just go into shock and die. It wouldn't walk and just layed quiety on my daughter's lap.
After a while it seemed to perk up a bit and we noted only a small wound on its back. Once the others calmed down we moved them back into the brooder. We left the injued chick with them. When I came back an hour later it was up and running about like nothing ever happened!!
They are a skittish bunch now. Stupid dog must have (thankfully) just mouthed it and not bitten. The permanent fence is much higher (5 ft.).
