So I FINALLY found blue kote. It was in the dairy supplies section.... That makes sense, right?!? No employees there even knew what it was. I just wandered around all the livestock aisles looking for a blue cap haha

Edit: hopefully Betty White will be ready for Gen Pop by tomorrow!

And coming this Saturday I will be bringing home Erlibrd's EE Rooster!!

Nice mix! My Barred Rocks are getting close to laying and I have to say they are my favorite birds in my flock besides my one Gold Comet, Lucille. They are friendly and have the best looks

I like the barred ones too. I have 2 barred rocks and a couple of the toads turned out barred, someone explain that to me....

I would like to get some Dominiques, for no other reason than they are an old breed and barred.


Turken disappeared today, I am assuming she went broody. I have more broodies than I know what do to with now.


I have a broody question... I have another BA, I think the same one that has been broody 3-4 times this year. She appears to be molting also, is that possible? Should I break her broodiness or let her set while molting?


Once again, I have to tell you I have one of the worlds greatest roosters, Ed (the partridge Chanticler I paid an arm and a leg for, is so protective, I threw them some bread today during snack time, he picked up a slice, after making his "Look what I found " sounds, and dropped it at the feet of a hen that came over. He did not eat it, she did.

I moved all the CX's outside and added to their run today and he spent the better part of the day laying next to their run. I think he thinks they are his babies!

Your error was thinking someone at TSC actually knew something about what they sell....

I have made that mistake too. When I ask and they say they do not have anything like that, I keep looking. Which is another reason I like Runnings!
