Hi everybody!
The vet told me my pregnant dog was due for the 14th... she just had her pups around 3 in the morning today. I went down to the kennel to give her more dog food and check on her when I noticed she looked way skinnier. I then checked the whelping box and low behold there's ten puppies in there! Five males, five females, and no still borns. There are four white, five blacks with tuxedo or bicolor white or silver markings, and one sable. I was extremely worried that her having her litter two earlier would mean small, weak pups but hey are all very large (the smallest is about 7 snf s half inches long from nose to tail) and pretty active for newborns. So far Rieka is being a wonderful mom. I'll post pics in a little bit I just didn't want to ruin the moment by snapping a bunch of pictures.

I haven't been able to get on for two days and there are 118 showing in my queue to read. Ain't gonna happen, folks. Our fair starts Tuesday and we have been getting rabbits and such ready and then there are those feather butts eating up my time. I did manage to sell 40 cockerels yesterday. That sure lightens the feed bill a bit!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and next week as I likely will not have time then to get on either. There will about 1200 more postings by then if I know how you all operate

Not wanting my redneckedness to show to much, but WTH ( read as what the heck) is Social Distortion?

I think the last time I was "downtown" at night was 1981.


Grats on the puppies, what breed are they?
