Still don't get the Redneck thing. You guys are fantastic folks. But why would someone want to be called a redneck? Is it a country-western thing?

Here is the CX's being released this morning... This is my answer to people that call them lazy not as good as feeding time but still fun to watch..

Awesome!! Funny as hell.
The DW came home and sat on the steps and I gave her the raisins. All the chickens came blasting across the yard, but dumpling was so much faster than the others. When she got in front of the DW she tried to turn to come at her and tumbled all the while keeping an eye on the raisins sliding a good two feet. Soo funny. She should join The Cardinals!! I wish I would have recorded it.

They just might. I took another video of the broody with her Guinea babies crowding under her, but it did not turn out well.. During that time I had them walking on my flip flops and pecking my legs..



Theblanchranch.. Redneck is not like you are thinking of it, I don't think,.

It is more of an anti-city, anti-deed restrictions, free living attitude.. Those of us out here get a lot of looks coming down the nose of metropolinites ( I heard them called Citidiots) on another thread. Your own admission of living in Hades kind of takes you out of that group.

For me, I have been there, I had the fancy house in the subdivision, I have the fancy house on the ocean (for sale) in Florida. BUT I am happier now back here where I grew up, and loving it. proving you can take the boy out of the country, but can't take the country out of the boy..


BTW I am a HUGE country music person.

Holy Smokes...How many Chickens you have total? Do you know? so are the CX the ones that you buy just to grow and eat? or are they egg layers?

I have 68 CX's.. and a bunch of turkeys, guineas and chickens.. BUT I know when one is missing.


The CX's are meatballs covered with feathers. except for 5.
