Minnesota!

I didn't realize it was going to be October weather on this trip... A steaming plate of goulash was just what I needed this evening to warm me from the center. We also made up a yellow cake in the Dutch oven, yummy. Starting to consider scratching other meals from our menu to piece together chicken and dumplings if this cold snap keeps up. With homegrown chicken, it's tempting. May have enough flour left from bagels to whip up some crusty bread too.

As you can tell we really rough it when we camp haha. I absolutely love being out in nature but there is no reason I have to live on hotdogs and baked beans :) a man has to eat!

Where do you dock?

We would leave Grand Portage and go to,,,,Man it has been years... I have to look at a map quick,,,

Okay we would spend our first nights in Todd harbor. We would go to Washington Harbor for gas. I liked to stay in Duncan bay/harbor the most. It had good fishing.

I have been all around the island. We would go to rock harbor some, but that had too many people there for me.

We would either stay on the boat or in those little screen house/cabins they have spread around the lake.
