On tools, I personally believe there is a tool elf who hoards them. Building the wood shed, wouldn't you know I couldn't find the level? And that is one tool that has a special place (inside the chicken coop) - I don't know. I brought it out when a guy was working on a porch overhang this summer, so I suspect it went home with him. Only because he was staying at his parents house, and bringing their tools to the job - and he kept leaving them. A shovel, a hammer, etc. And I would say, hey this is your shovel, etc. Because they were his dads, I think he just didn't recognize them or think about it. No big deal, that was one heck of an old level. but I hate running to the shed, the utility closet, the other shed, etc looking for a tool.

How can anyone have a favorite tool store? There are so many good ones.




And now back to chickens, When Aussiegal was here today she failed to locate any roosters for me in my CX's. I think I might have to call and complain, they are 12 weeks old tomorrow, I should be able to tell at least one rooster by now. Not having a rooster is going to keep me from having a 13 pound dressed chicken, I think!
